Actually, I believe that only if you let the Dark side rule you does your body and mind become corrupted by it.
I believe the true path to ultimate power lies in taming your anger to such a point that you can go from kind to Psychopathicly insane in an instant, yet still be completely calm and in control.
...actually, its a good thing the Sith dont do that. They'd be even more powerful then they already are.
