Flash!
Well, the free trial, anyway. But I'm making the most of those thirty precious days that I'm allowed to spend making Totally Kotor comics.
I got it running last Saturday, and everything just clicked into place. It was wonderful - I was using Flash again! I realised just how much I enjoy it. Just using it, drawing, editing lines and shapes, creating. It's magic! I was dancing around my bedroom singing Sweet Child of Mine (that was all I was singing - "Uh uh oh Sweet Child of Mine!" - I don't know the lyrics) to it.
If you only have thirty days to use a program like Flash, you don't want to waste time sleeping, eating, or leaving the computer. This was a real annoyance for me at first, because I knew I had to do these things, but every second I spend sleeping was a second lost. So I've decided not to lose any time to these unnescecary annoyances.
By the end of the 720 hours, I'll probably be dead. Oh well.
I've already made some handy changes to the final few comics - the previous ending kind of sucked because I was drawing it on a deadline - my last day of school, ever, and I had to get the series finished by 2:50 or I'd miss my bus. So now I'm fleshing that out, which will mean that this series will run for slightly longer. Already I've added a week's worth of new comics (ie three) so the series has been extended until at least September 13th.
I hate September. But I'll tell you more about that when we get to the actual month.
Anyway, yesterday I spent a while drawing out (on paper) the new characters for Totally Kotor: Flames of Power (that's series two, by the way). It's going to fill in the time between K1 and 2. None of the characters from Totally Kotor I will make much of an appearance, it'll be all new characters - even the Jedi at the center.
Poor Runt and Candy.
Oh well, you'll see it all soon enough.
